Milan - City Information

Milan, situated on the flat plains of the Po Valley, is the capital of Lombardy and  the second largest city of Italy. Although it is considered an industrial city, Milan is a hive of activity, and has a great deal to offer hiding in itself numerous historical and artistic treasures and  enjoying its role as the wold’s fashion center. It is founded around a historic nucleus radiating from the Cathedral (Il Duomo), with star-shaped axis of arteries spreading through modern suburbs to the ring road. Three times in the history the city had been rebuild after being conquered, but miraculously so many historic treasures still exist, including Il Duomo (one of the world’s largest, most striking gothic cathedral), Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper, Sforza Castle, Basilica of S. Ambrogio, S. Eustorgio.

We encourage you to meet us in October to discover the historical and artistic heart of Milan with its outstanding ancient churches, picturesque narrow streets, beautiful buildings, art galleries, the museums, the famous La Scala Theatre, the breathtaking Duomo Square and the Cathedral.
